Kamaz says swings to 1.545 bln rbl RAS net profit in 2020
MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz posted a 1.545 billion ruble net profit in 2020 after a 1.517 billion ruble net loss in 2019, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Revenue went up by almost 16% to 185.868 billion rubles in the period thanks to local sales of trucks, the launch of a new K5-KAMAZ-54901 line and higher bus sales.
The sales profit stood at 5.045 billion rubles against a 796 million ruble sales loss a year ago.
